Wiley and Willow are two loving, absolutely adorable brothers.
It's hard to believe, but they were someone's pets at one time.
Apparently they were dumped outside, but they were lucky enough
to find a wonderful woman who feeds the local stray cats.
She quickly realized that these sweet boys, who came up and rubbed
against her legs, were in urgent need of rescue and a new home!
Their foster mom says "These are two of the sweetest, gentlest cats I've ever met (and I've met a lot of cats!). Both of them want nothing more than to cuddle up with you for love. They both have wonderfully sleek, shiny black fur. The shape of their heads makes me think they have some Siamese in their background, but their meows are quite mild and unassuming. They are both very gentle; even if one starts to slip from my lap he doesn't dig in his claws." The vet estimates their age at 1 to 2 years old, and both were neutered in the past. We of course have gotten them tested and vaccinated as well. Wiley is the leader, but not an alpha cat at all. He is completely black and a little smaller than his brother. He loves to jump into my lap and then up into my arms to cuddle. He has a huge purr and likes to get a tummy rub and a head scratch. He's quite curious and likes to explore the house and meet the other cats. Willow is a little shier, but quickly comes around especially if there are tummy rubs to be gotten. He loves to jump up and flop over for belly rubs and get his rump scratched. He also has a big purr. He has a touch of white on his chest and on his tummy. He is especially fond of food and so is a bit bigger than his brother. Lately he has earned the nickname "Silly Willy" because he loves being petted and scratched so much, he squirms around and falls off his perch. No matter, he jumps right up again for more. If you can get both of them into your arms (that's over 20 pounds of cat), you will not only make them very happy but you will get loved and purred until you cry "uncle". They seem to be bonded and you will frequently find them curled up together. However we think they would do OK being adopted separately as well. They do fine with other nice cats and probably with a nice, quiet dog as well. They would probably find small children a bit too intimidating at first, but they are so calm and gentle that they may well do fine. If you are interested in either of these boys, please email us. If you are coming to an adoption show, let us know so we can make sure they can come to meet you!
