Snowball Courtesy Posting - Not CARA | |

Snowball was living with a bunch of other cats, including her 4 younger cousins, at an industrial park. She had a good life, with a caretaker who fed the cats twice a day and cooked chicken for their dining pleasure. But the problem was ... reproduction! The cats were having kittens, some of which disappeared and some of which grew up to have more kittens of their own. The situation was snowballing (no pun intended). So the caretaker called for help and a cat rescue volunteer responded. Together they trapped the cats hanging around and had them vaccinated and spayed or neutered. They are all back home now, greatly relieved to have that behind them ... except for Snowball. Snowball is just a kitten (about 4 months old) and very people-friendly a sweet and lovable little purr machine who loves to be carried around. So Snowball stayed behind to try to find a home with a family. Showball is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations, and negative for Feline Leukemia Virus and FIV. If you would like to meet Snowball, please call Beltsville Veterinary Hospital at 301-937-3020 and ask to speak to Shari or Michelle. |
