Magic
Mystery
Everyone piles on Pursia!

These kittens were found living on the property of a commercial
roofing company behind a pallet of lumber. Though their feral
mother was still nursing them, these little ones toddled out to eat
the "big kitty" food at 5 weeks old. The caretaker was able to
pick up the small kittens and get them to safety with a CARA
volunteer. We found out later that the lumber pallet was not
a safe place for small kittens as tragedy had already struck down
two of their littermates.
Upon coming to a CARA foster home, they tested negative for FIV and Feline Leukemia, have been dewormed, and have received their first two rounds of distemper shots. Because of their hard start at life, they are still a little too small to be spayed and neutered. They will receive their rabies shots when they are old enough. Magic is a DSH tan tabby girl, and she is the most curious of the group. At 5 weeks old, she was already investigating the top of the 6-foot tall cat tree in her foster home. She will also let you know when she wants something by singing at the top of her lungs! Mystery was the last kitten to be picked up by the caretaker, and it was a "mystery" to us where his mama had hidden him for 3 days! Though this silver tabby boy is bigger than his brother and his sister, he tends to be a follower instead of a leader, but within days of reuniting with his siblings, he too was romping around the house digging all of the kitten toys out of the toy box! Mystic, their brother, is not available for adoption as yet because he needs cataract surgery. Please see his special webpage for his story - and to help him regain his sight! The kittens live with their cousins, Jinx and Mischief, and their adoptive "mom cat", Pursia. Any of these babies would do well being adopted with their cousins or "mom cat", or into a home with another gentle, playful animal. If you'd like to meet the kittens, please check our upcoming show schedule, and email us beforehand at cara_adopt@yahoo.com to make sure they will be at the store to meet you!
