Jake is a brown tabby w/tiger stripes. He is very shy & timid around unfamiliar people. He will respond to his name. He's about 6 mos old, and was last seen playing in our back yard playing with his favorite toy. He's been missing since Sunday, 8/19/07. We are highly concerned about his safety and well-being. Our hearts are aching and broken over his disappearance, he is truly being missed! My kitty Annie popped out the front door on October 30, as she sometimes does, but instead of coming back in as usual, she went off exploring in the dark. I expected her to show up again on her own at the front door but I've seen no sign of her. She is fairly outgoing and may have gone up to someone who "rescued" her.
Annie is a beautiful long haired tabby gal, about 9 years old. She was lost in the 1000 block of Seventh St. in Laurel, a residential area few blocks from the Laurel Shopping Center. I have lost my kitty, a black, spayed, 9 year old, DSH cat, around Van Buren Street in University Park. She is identifiable because she has a small V-shaped patch of white on her underside a bit like a little bikini bottom -- not visible unless you are looking for it. I've been to the PG shelter, called College Park Animal control, put food and cat litter (for the scent) in my yard and have posted many flyers in the neighborhood, letting people know there is a reward, posted on several email websites, and have contacted Jeff Bender, a local gentleman who keeps a database of pets in University Park (people call him when they find or lose a pet and he tries to match them up). I'd be grateful if you have other suggestions or if you can notify me if you receive a report of a similar found cat. Also, are you familiar with any good "pet detective" working in our area? This past Friday evening (January 6, 5pm) our Ridgeback, Clancy, disappeared and hasn't returned. We have called neighbors, searched our property, registered with animal shelters in Frederick, Montgomery and Washington counties and plan to alert our rural route postman on Monday. Koko is a three year old neutered male cat. He is all white with medium length hair, yellow eyes, and weighs about 9lbs. He does have claws. He is friendly but can be shy at times. He was last seen at about 2030 hours at the junction of Arnsley Drive in Oak Hill (Herndon) Va. on June 8, 2005. Please help us find our friend. Please note that he may have gotten pretty dirty out there so his coat might appear to be gray or spotted. Tao, a 15-pound mutt, has been missing since June 16. He is neutered and microchipped. Tao is 8 years old but most people think he's a puppy because of his energy level. Lionel is a 13 year old red, smooth, neutered, male Dachshunt with a bent tail and very few teeth left. He is very friendly and will come to anyone. He has been missing since 3:30 pm on April 18 from his home in Falls Church Va. The owner let his 3 doxies out for a potty break (totally fenced yard). When he opened the back door to let them back into the house after about 15 minutes only 2 returned. The fence was found intact and no gaps were found. On Saturday April 9th a 16 year old female American Pit Bull Terrier by the name of "Binky" was lost. Binky was last seen resting on her porch in Lutherville, MD. Description: Brindle with white chest, female, 16 years old, wearing a royal blue dog collar with family info. and phone number. Has a medical condition -- seizures, for which she is being treated with medication. Slightly deaf due to her age, some small bumps from a skin condition on various parts of her body. Our cat, Artist, was lost on the evening of Sunday, April 10, 2005. He is a domestic shorthair, mostly white (belly, paws, and face) with tabby (splotches of gray, black, and brown) over his tail, back, ears, and top of head. He also has a tabby splotch on his front left leg and rear left leg. He was lost from the Overview Manor neighborhood in Abingdon, Harford County, Maryland. We've already contacted local vets, shelters, etc., but are expanding our search in case a well-meaning neighborhood visitor thought our very friendly cat was lost and looking for a new home. We found a 6 to 8 month old gray tabby on our street (Compton Court behind Liberty H.S.) in Eldersburg, MD, on the day before Easter. He apparently had lived in a house because he is litter-box trained. He is a very sweet little cat and loves to be around people and our dog. He is an unneutered male with claws. His markings are rather distinct. He is gray with cream "eyeliner", but his stripes form a circle on each side of his tummy when he is sitting or walking (like a target). His tail is oddly striped, too, almost as if sectioned off. It's a very unique and attractive pattern. We had him at our vet to check for an electronic ID chip, but no luck. We also had him receive a rabies shot, ear mite treatment, and deworming. If no one claims him, we will probably have him neutered and laser declawed with a week or two and will try to find him a good home.
UPDATE! We have officially adopted "Winston," the little gray tabby who was lost. You can take him off your listing. My son would never forgive me if I found him another home....

We have found a smokey grey kitten here in our parking lot in an office park off Dobbin Road in Columbia. She is under a year old, about 6 to 8 pounds, not declawed, very friendly and just a sweetheart. We have searched and searched for her owner to no avail. She is wearing a flea collar but no other owner identifying marks. Please contact Pat W. if you have information on her.
Wanted to let you know that our little grey girl was adopted by a lady here at work. Her new name is Chloe and she is very much loved! New mom went to PetSmart and left with about $90 of new things for Chloe who will be spoiled rotten. Thank you for listing her lost/found report.

"Trouble" is an 11 year old Somali, reddish-orange cat, quite small. She got out on May 17th, 2005, and was seen by our next door neighbors at 5pm. We have posted signs, reported her missing to the MC Humane Society and MCSPCA. We have spent two evenings roaming the neighborhood looking for her. Our home is in Gaithersburg. Gail N.
UPDATE - KITTY FOUND!
Trouble came home Saturday (May 21)!!!!! I had a bed in a box by the back door and I think she slept there on Friday night. I had filed a report with 3 shelters and taken a picture to the main (Montgomery County Humane Society) one and visited Friday night. We were going to widen the area to put posters up on Saturday. About 8am Ted (my husband) dumped her on my bed. He was taking three animals to the vet so she went along to get checked and chipped. She was dehydrated and hungry, but okay. I still have ads running in the paper etc. But I'll be able to notify more people that she's found and we've taken the signs down. I had two feeding stations and two bed/box areas and her litter box outside. One bed on the deck and one by the back door. We crawled under bushes, shined lights into storm drains.... and she just walks up to Ted from the backyard! Anyway, thanks so much for the words of encouragement and operating a Lost and Found. It helps just having people like you out there.

Ginger is a one-year old Cairn Terrier who is missing from her Laurel home. She looks like "Toto" in the Wizard of Oz but has sandy brown fur. She disappeared from her fenced front yard on May 17. There is a $50 reward for her return.
UPDATE - DOG FOUND!
I want to let you know that we found Ginger. She was a little dirty but she is fine. We found her on Sunday afternoon (May 29). Someone saw the many posters that we have up of her and called us to let know that he had her. We are very happy that she is home with us. Thank you very much for posting her on your website. He is a domestic shorthair, mostly white (belly, paws, and face) with tabby (splotches of gray, black, and brown) over his tail, back, ears, and top of head. He also has a tabby splotch on his front left leg and rear left leg. He was lost from the Overview Manor neighborhood in Abingdon, Harford County, Maryland. We've already contacted local vets, shelters, etc., but are expanding our search in case a well-meaning neighborhood visitor thought our very friendly cat was lost and looking for a new home. POSTED 3/20/2006 HAS BEEN FOUND! We lost our cat, Chloe, in McLean (Langley Forest area) on March 15. She's a dilute torti/tiger tabby mix; soft gray, black and orange fur; 1.5 years old; really sweet personality. Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks. UPDATE 9/07/06: CHLOE HAS BEEN FOUND!!! YAY!	FOUND CAT POSTED 4/22/2005 * HAS BEEN ADOPTED * We found a 6 to 8 month old gray tabby on our street (Compton Court behind Liberty H.S.) in Eldersburg, MD, on the day before Easter. He apparently had lived in a house because he is litter-box trained. He is a very sweet little cat and loves to be around people and our dog. He is an unneutered male with claws. His markings are rather distinct. He is gray with cream "eyeliner", but his stripes form a circle on each side of his tummy when he is sitting or walking (like a target). His tail is oddly striped, too, almost as if sectioned off. It's a very unique and attractive pattern. We had him at our vet to check for an electronic ID chip, but no luck. We also had him receive a rabies shot, ear mite treatment, and deworming. If no one claims him, we will probably have him neutered and laser declawed with a week or two and will try to find him a good home. UPDATE! We have officially adopted "Winston," the little gray tabby who was lost. You can take him off your listing. My son would never forgive me if I found him another home.... Thanks again... Stephanie
LOST CAT POSTED 8/15/2005 * HAS BEEN FOUND! * A Bowie cat owner needs help in locating a lost pet. The missing cat is a brown stripe tabby female, 7 years old, missing a tail, lost in the "O" section of Bowie since August 9. If you have any information on the missing cat please report it to Bowie Animal Control or you can call PGFF and we will see that the owner and cat are reunited. Linda FOUND CAT POSTED 8/10/2005 * HAS BEEN ADOPTED * We have found a smokey grey kitten here in our parking lot in an office park off Dobbin Road in Columbia. She is under a year old, about 6 to 8 pounds, not declawed, very friendly and just a sweetheart. We have searched and searched for her owner to no avail. She is wearing a flea collar but no other owner identifying marks. Please contact Pat W. if you have information on her. Wanted to let you know that our little grey girl was adopted by a lady here at work. Her new name is Chloe and she is very much loved! New mom went to PetSmart and left with about $90 of new things for Chloe who will be spoiled rotten. Thank you for listing her lost/found report.	LOST CAT POSTED 7/13/2005 * HAS BEEN FOUND * Kitty was lost in the Piney Orchard/Odenton (Autumn Harvest Ct.) area on July 2. She is a tortoiseshell female (see flier). Her owner was visiting family, so Kitty is not familiar with the area and is likely to be pretty scared. If you have any information please contact Patty. Reward offered. UPDATE! KITTY IS FOUND! Kitty was spotted by a neighbor about 1/4 mile away from where she was lost. She is home now, fine except for having lost 2 pounds. IT PAYS TO PUT UP LOST POSTERS!!!
LOST CAT POSTED 5/20/2005 * HAS BEEN FOUND * "Trouble" is an 11 year old Somali, reddish-orange cat, quite small. She got out on May 17th, 2005, and was seen by our next door neighbors at 5pm. We have posted signs, reported her missing to the MC Humane Society and MCSPCA. We have spent two evenings roaming the neighborhood looking for her. Our home is in Gaithersburg. Gail N. UPDATE - KITTY FOUND! Trouble came home Saturday (May 21)!!!!! I had a bed in a box by the back door and I think she slept there on Friday night. I had filed a report with 3 shelters and taken a picture to the main (Montgomery County Humane Society) one and visited Friday night. We were going to widen the area to put posters up on Saturday. About 8am Ted (my husband) dumped her on my bed. He was taking three animals to the vet so she went along to get checked and chipped. She was dehydrated and hungry, but okay. I still have ads running in the paper etc. But I'll be able to notify more people that she's found and we've taken the signs down. I had two feeding stations and two bed/box areas and her litter box outside. One bed on the deck and one by the back door. We crawled under bushes, shined lights into storm drains.... and she just walks up to Ted from the backyard! Anyway, thanks so much for the words of encouragement and operating a Lost and Found. It helps just having people like you out there.	LOST DOG POSTED 5/20/2005 * HAS BEEN FOUND * Ginger is a one-year old Cairn Terrier who is missing from her Laurel home. She looks like "Toto" in the Wizard of Oz but has sandy brown fur. She disappeared from her fenced front yard on May 17. There is a $50 reward for her return. UPDATE - DOG FOUND! I want to let you know that we found Ginger. She was a little dirty but she is fine. We found her on Sunday afternoon (May 29). Someone saw the many posters that we have up of her and called us to let know that he had her. We are very happy that she is home with us. Thank you very much for posting her on your website. FOUND PUPPY POSTED 3/9/2005 * HAS BEEN ADOPTED * A puppy was found on Sunday in the Towson- Lutherville area. He is male, all black, fluffy, bi-eyed, about 14-16 weeks old, possible Husky/Border Collie/Lab mix. Very sweet. Puppy is being kept at a vet's office for now.
