Jinx and Mischief

Jinx

Mischief

Everyone piles on Pursia!

These two brothers came to CARA from a caretaker of a group of cats in Beltsville. We believe that they were born in an old beat up car that was waiting to be restored, but as soon as they were old enough, their feral mom brought them to her caretaker to eat.

We were able to catch these babies at 8 weeks old, and they have learned the manners of true housecats... sleeping on beds, getting a constant meal, and plenty of love! They have been to the vet and have checked out healthy, have received their vaccinations, and are only awaiting to be neutered. Because of their origins, they are not comfortable in an environment with a lot of noise... they grew up being taught to avoid the loud noises of cars, trucks, and even the big dump trucks in the area!

Jinx, a marbled brown tabby boy, is the leader of this pair. He thinks his white "mittens" are boxing gloves since he will playfully and gently bat at his foster mom's hand before settling down for a good brushing or loving. Mischief, the classically striped brown tabby boy, is just that... the sneakier of the two brothers who loves a good game of tag with any of his foster family - feline or human. Mischief isn't overly fond of being picked up and cuddled, but he will not begrudge sharing a soft pillow with his foster parents.

Both boys are very bonded to each other and would do best being adopted together. They have been raised with their cousins, The Magic Kittens (who were found in the same area on the other side of a bridge), and have been cared for by their adoptive kitty "mom" Pursia. All five kittens still comfort nurse on "Mama Pursia" when she lets them and she wouldn't mind living with any of these other kitties if an adoptive family wanted more than two brothers!

If you'd like to meet the kittens, please check our upcoming show schedule, and email us beforehand at cara_adopt@yahoo.com to make sure they will be at the store to meet you!
