OUR FEATURED CATS

MEET PURSIA! She's lovely tabby girl who adores kittens, even though she's never been a mom herself.

YES WE HAVE KITTENS! Come and meet some of them at an upcoming adoption show.

LOST DOG ALERT

Haggis, a Scottish Deerhound, was involved in a very bad car accident near Rt. 50 and Rt. 197 on Nov. 21, and has been on the loose. He has been sighted often, and many people are trying to catch him. HE IS STILL MISSING. Please call anytime if he is seen; here is his website.

CARA is also on

Get a spay-neuter license plate and support CARA's spay-neuter effort.

BECOME A VOLUNTEER!

MARIO needs a foster home!
Can you help?

We need volunteers in a variety of capacities! Fundraising, publicity, photography, foster care - you name it. If you are interested, please email us!

A CARA RESCUE STORY!

READ the incredible story of our volunteers and the rescue of three Westies.

CARA NEEDS YOUR HELP!

WE NEED YOUR HELP SO THAT WE CAN CONTINUE TO RESCUE, CARE FOR,
AND FIND HOMES FOR HOMELESS CATS AND DOGS.

CARA volunteers freely contribute their time, their homes, their expertise, and their own money to benefit the animals. We also provide free services to the community, such as our Courtesy Postings for individuals to find homes for their pets or for animals that they have rescued, our Lost and Found pages, and help with people's pet behavioral or medical problems from our extensive experiences. About 95% of our fees and donations go to provide veterinary care for CARA's rescued animals.

We can't do it without you! If you can, please choose among the many ways you can contribute. You can donate online with a credit card, mail us a check (address below), or donate through PayPal. You can sponsor an animal, shop online through IGive, buy a rescue magnet or CARA T-shirt, or donate your car! We are a 501(c)3 charity so your contributions are tax deductible. The cats and dogs thank you for your help!

CARA has placed almost 600 animals into new homes since we started in 2003!
