Hi, I'm Frankie! I am so embarrassed, please excuse my picture. I just had surgery... ahem... down there. I'm usually the happiest, friendliest, most polite dog you'll ever meet. But in this picture I was pouting because I had to wear the plastic cone.

I am a Staffordshire, 2 yr old boy. I get along with dogs and every human I've ever met. I never even bark! I enjoy playing but snuggling on the couch with a human is my favorite. I am currently boarding with our good friends at Noah's Ark Veterinary and Boarding Resort and the staff there LOVES me. I'm happy they do because I love them right back and they give me lots of extra treats.

My perfect home would be anywhere but Prince George's County, where they have made me and my kind illegal. It is unfortunate too, because I'm the perfect dog and I'll make the most perfect companion. Ignorance and fear has perpetuated the myth that my breed is dangerous, just because we are most often used for illegal dog-fighting activity. CARA thoroughly temperament tests each dog in the rescue using a system designed by the Center for the Interaction of Animals and Society of the University of Pennsylvania, and is "currently the only behavioral assessment instrument of its kind to be extensively tested for reliability and validity on large samples of dogs of many breeds." Guess what... I passed!
