Francine was dumped on the doorstep of a vet hospital, without so much as a scrap of paper to explain her situation no name, no background, no age, no medical history. So she has had to start over, with a new name and new vaccinations and basically a whole new identity and a whole new life. Let's hope this life will work out better than the last one. Francine was scared at first when she found herself in a cage surrounded by barking dogs, but despite her anxiety she was gentle and sweet from the very beginning. She loves attention and loves to be petted, to the point that it's very hard to get pictures of her, because she keeps coming toward you to get some petting. She's a beautiful dark tortoiseshell with bold orange splashes on the back of her neck. She is young (probably 1 or 2 years old) and healthy, and seems to be a well-adjusted house cat who probably lost her home through no fault of her own. Although her past is a mystery, it's evident that Francine is a charming and elegant cat who deserves a second chance. Francine is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations, and negative for Feline Leukemia Virus and FIV. If you would like to meet Francine, please call Beltsville Veterinary Hospital at 301-937-3020 and ask to speak to Shari or Michelle. |
