The Computer Kittens II. Packard
(Apple, Amiga, Compaq, and Lisa were adopted)

L to R: Amiga, Apple, Packard, Compaq, and Lisa (hidden at back)

Apple

Packard and Compaq

Amiga

One of CARA's volunteers was heading home when she found these tiny kittens. They had been dumped in a nearby parking lot and found by some children. Well of course she immediately scooped them up before anything bad could happen to them. This is the SECOND time this has happened (see below).

These adorable kittens are all healthy, playful and love people. They have visited our vet for checkups, tests, and shots. We think they were born around October 6, so they are now about 10 weeks old. Apple and Lisa look alike, and Packard and Compaq look alike. Amiga looks like... Amiga.

  • Apple - medium haired tabby with white feet, male
  • Lisa - medium haired tabby with white feet, female
  • Packard - short haired tabby with white feet, male
  • Compaq - short haired tabby with white feet, female
  • Amiga - short haired brown tabby, female

The kittens' foster/rescuer, as well as our other CARA volunteers, is disturbed about finding a second, almost identical litter of kittens (see our page for the first computer kittens). It appears someone is allowing their cat to get pregnant, have kittens, and then dumping them at the age of 6 weeks, when they are too young to survive on their own. The owner of the momma cat should get her spayed to save her from producing more kittens and to avoid the risk of uterine infections or breast cancer. The father or fathers should be neutered, or they are doomed to continue to fight and risk injury, contracting disease, and death. So our message to every one out there:

PLEASE SPAY AND NEUTER YOUR PETS!

You, your pet, and everyone else will be happier.

If you are interested in any of the Computer Kittens (remember, they do best in pairs), please contact us. The kittens would love to find permanent homes where no one would even consider dumping them outside!
