Autumn is a young cat who was living at a local nursery, part of a rapidly proliferating colony comprised of feral, not-so-feral, and friendly cats. The owners of the nursery realized these cats had to be spayed or neutered before they overran the whole place, so they started trapping them and bringing them to their vet hospital. When Autumn was brought in, she proved to be one of the very friendly cats. Besides that, she is drop-dead gorgeous and barely past kittenhood, probably 5 or 6 months old. She is a fluffy and colorful tortoiseshell with a sweet and gentle personality. She loves to be petted and has made friends with her new caretakers in no time. It didn't seem right to put her back outside when she would make such a great companion for some lucky person. So her rescuers decided to put her up for adoption and give her a chance for a better future. Autumn is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations, and negative for Feline Leukemia Virus and FIV. If you would like to meet Autumn, please call Beltsville Veterinary Hospital at 301-937-3020 and ask to speak to Shari or Michelle. |
