Vinny, the Ultimate Lap Cat
Courtesy Posting - Not CARA

Vinny was trapped in a feral colony where he showed up looking for handouts. He was very thin and very eager for food, so it wasn't hard to trap him. As it turned out, he was completely tame.
Apparently somebody had dumped him or had allowed him to wander away. Luckily he was rescued before he picked up any diseases or was damaged by fighting with other tomcats. Vinny is now loving his new life in a home with regular meals and lots of petting. He's a very sociable fellow who loves to converse and loves lap time. If you like talkative, affectionate cats, Vinny is the boy for you. He is almost all-white, except for an intriguing black blotch on the top of his head. Vinny gets along with most of the other cats in his foster home, but he likes to be dominant so probably wouldn't do well with another alpha cat. He hasn't had experience with dogs, but he's pretty laid back and would probably be fine with a gentle, cat-friendly dog. He loves attention and loves to play, so he would be great with kids. He is a healthy young cat (about a year old, we think) and is negative for Feline Leukemia Virus and FIV. If you are interested in adopting Vinny, send an email to Janet at JanetCatMom@yahoo.com to arrange a meeting (he is living in Riverdale MD, next to College Park). Please include "Vinny" in the subject line. The adoption process for Vinny includes an application, contract, and tax-deductible donation. |
