Ricky & Koda, the Train Station Kittens

Ricky and Koda were found wandering around a train station, without their mother and completely helpless. Ricky was simply picked up by a neighbor and taken to a local cat rescuer. Koda, however, was scared and hid under some heavy machinery parked nearby. She was hungry but wouldn't come close enough to be grabbed. Luckily, she obligingly went into a trap with no trouble at all. The two of them are now in foster care, enjoying regular meals and lots of fun toys. Ricky is extremely outgoing and fearless. Koda is much shyer. We think they are brother and sister, but can't be sure. It's a complete mystery how these tame kittens ended up on the street at their young ages. Probably they were dumped by less-than-stellar pet owners who didn't get their cat spayed and then didn't take responsibility for the resulting kittens.

Ricky and Koda are probably around 10 months old. They are spayed/neutered, negative for Feline Leukemia Virus and FIV, and up-to-date on shots. They are living with Brad and Newberry and the Independence Day Kittens, and would love to be adopted with either a sibling or with one of their foster friends.

If you are interested in Ricky or Koda, please email Janet at JanetCatMom@yahoo.com to arrange a meeting in Riverdale, Maryland. (Please include "Kittens" in the subject line.) The adoption process includes an application, contract, and tax-deductible donation.
