Shem Po Shem Po was born on the property of a man who has many stray cats that just wander in and out of his house. Luckily he has a neighbor who helps him to get the cats spayed and neutered and who helps him find homes for the kittens. Shem Po was fortunate enough to find a foster home when he was very young. Unfortunately, when he developed a childhood illness, the foster left him at the vet hospital to be treated and then never came back to get him. She said she couldn't find him a home (after a couple of weeks!) and just gave up on him.

Luckily other people didn't give up on him. Po is a terrific kitten. He is extremely friendly and outgoing. Shem Po He's a busy boy who likes to check everything out and then re-check it – just in case he missed something, you know. He's living in a cage, so of course he is bored out of his mind. He needs to get into a real home where he can run and play and work off his kitten energy.

Shem Po is approximately 1 year old. He is neutered, negative for Feline Leukemia Virus and FIV, and fully vaccinated. If you are interested in adopting Po and would like to meet him, please call Beltsville Veterinary Hospital at 301-937-3020 and ask to speak to Alana about adopting a kitten (leave a message if she isn't there).
