Selman

Selman is a strikingly handsome red classic tabby with a great personality – he is extremely friendly and outgoing and gets along well with other cats. He was found in a carrier in the middle of Selman Road in Beltsville, MD, with a bottle of water and some food and a note that said "Please adopt me." For those who know Selman Road, it's a busy thoroughfare and not at all a good place to be stuck in a container. Luckily somebody driving by stopped and rescued Selman. So now he is boarding at a vet hospital, hoping to find a home with a loving family who will appreciate his playful personality and sweet disposition.

Besides his artistic swirls, Selman also has a nifty foot. It's a weird color that looks like he stepped in mud. It's just one more entertaining facet of this cool cat.

Selman is a young adult, about 1-1/2 years old. He is neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations and is negative for Feline Leukemia Virus and FIV. If you are interested in adopting Selman and would like to meet him, please call Beltsville Veterinary Hospital at 301-937-3020 and ask to speak to Alana (leave a message if she isn't there).
