Patch Courtesy Posting - Not CARA | |
|
My wife and I are separating and we need to try to find a home for our dog.
Patch is an 11-year-old (in October) American Pitbull Terrier.
He weighs about 55 pounds and still acts as though he is a puppy.
He is absolutely great with people, even children. My son has been around him since he was an infant and I would be more concerned about someone drowning in a pool of slobber before him ever biting a person. His only challenge is because we were bad parents and didn't understand the importance of socialization when he was a puppy, he doesn't get along with other dogs. He is very loving but because we babied him, he expects lots of attention. We have never had a problem with him chewing anything, but that may be because we always made sure he had bones, etc.
