Our dog Otis just turned 4 in March. We think he is either Border Collie
mix or Pointer mix. He gets along fine with our other
dog which is a pug. He is very affectionate and
thinks he is a lap dog despite being almost 45 lbs. He is neutered,
up to date on shots and has no medical problems except an occasional ear
infection. He tolerates our 2 year old son, but would probably
do better without little kids. He has never bitten or been mean to him,
he just avoids him most of the time. Also, please be aware he does shed a lot.
Otis needs room to run. We live in a townhouse with a very tiny backyard, so he relies on leashed walks to get out his energy. This is not enough for him. A house with a large fenced backyard would be best for him. We are expecting another son in July which will limit our time to exercise Otis even more and it just doesn't seem fair to him.
