First and foremost, you should know that it kills me to put my girl
up for adoption. We've been together since she was a puppy and
I'd love nothing more than to keep her forever. However, my
circumstances have recently changed as they tend to do for active
duty military. In a nutshell -- I got divorced, transferred from
Hawaii to Maryland, put my home in Hawaii up for short sale, and
am now about to move to a small 1 bedroom apartment -- all within
the past year. Next year there will be even more travel for
work whether it be for a deployment, training, etc. All this is
just not healthy for my girl Mizz; she needs a stable home with a
nice family and a big fenced-in yard.
Mizz is a 2 yr old purebred American Pit Bull Terrier. I am unable to locate her papers, but I do have all her medical records that say she is spayed and up-to-date on all her shots and vaccinations. Mizz is a very friendly and playful puppy and although she is deaf she responds to hand signals and is very well-behaved when left home alone. She's been raised to be an indoor pet and knows to only go to the bathroom outside. Mizz is the best companion you'll ever find and loves everyone she meets. Mizz is definitely not the best traveler as she does tend to get motion sick in a moving vehicle.
