Lola
Courtesy Posting - Not CARA

I found Lola on St Paul St. a few months ago. She had 2 eye infections, an abscess on her neck, and, we later found out, was pregnant. She was so skinny and malnourished that the vet could not tell that she was pregnant. She had only one kitten, who has already found a home, and now it is Lola's turn. She is fixed, has her rabies vaccine, and is free of any diseases. We think she is 2 to 3 years old.

Lola is absolutely beautiful and she knows it. She has some sass to her and DOES NOT LIKE OTHER CATS, but she loves to sit on laps and snuggle. A good word to describe lola would be Passionate. When she wants to be petted she lets you know by burying her head in your lap and climbing all over you, but is also happy to just sit beside you. If Lola doesn't like something (like being touched on her stomach) she will let you know with a growl, hiss, or a little nip. Because of this I do not think she would be a good match for a home with small children or dogs. Lola would be perfect for someone who is home a lot and does not have other pets, someone who loves cats and is willing to help mold her into the perfect lap cat. I wish I could keep her but unfortunately I have 3 cats already who stress her out and she become aggressive when they are around. She is also a GREAT mouser!
