Gnome
Courtesy Posting - Not CARA | ||
Gnome was originally rescued from outdoors last year, when she was just a kitten. She was adopted, but recently her adopter returned her because she played too much. Apparently the adopter didn't quite grasp the concept: kittens and young cats play ... a lot. Of course it would have made more sense to get another kitten for Gnome to play with, but the adopter chose to give her back instead.So now Gnome is back to Square One: homeless, boarding at a vet hospital, living in a cage. That's a pretty lousy life for an energetic young cat. But she seems to have an optimistic attitude and no doubt she is expecting to be sprung soon from her cramped quarters. Gnome is as you can see from her pictures an extremely cute and alert and photogenic young kitty. She is about 2 years old now, spayed, negative for Feline Leukemia Virus and FIV, and vaccinated. If you are interested in adopting Gnome and would like to arrange a meeting, please call Beltsville Veterinary Hospital at 301-937-3020 and ask to speak to Alana (leave a message if she isn't there). |
