Hi, it's me :)
Oh yeah, that's the spot!
Like my golden eyes?
I love your feet and everything about you! |
Tommy
Hi, my name is Tommy, although my foster mom calls me her Golden Boy.
Maybe my stripes don't show up on my pictures - they are a slightly
different shade of gold - but my gold eyes sure do. I mean, my eyes
would wow anybody. Maybe I even share genes with the gorgeous
Egyptian cats of old. And do I have a personality!! I will greet
you at the door, I carry on a fabulous conversation about the day's
events, I follow you just like any good dog would, I love to sleep
cuddled with you; I am one mellow, loving cat.
I wish I could tell you where I've been but that is past history.
I can tell you that I recently ended up homeless, hungry and scared
on a really loving lady's balcony in a yucky apartment complex in
Cheverly, Maryland. She gave me food and a cat carrier to crawl into
but at night the bully cats would chase me and I was very nervous.
This kind lady called my foster mom who has offered to keep me until
I find a home that needs told a loving, talkative, snuggly cat.
Nobody told me that first I had to go to the vet where I was medicated
and neutered - I believe that is the polite word for it. (My foster
mom says to tell you that I don't smell and have wonderful litter
box habits, yadda, yadda, yadda...)
I cannot live in just any home because I have a medical condition
called FIV. It is not infectious unless I bite another cat, although
there is little chance of that. I believe that he who fights by running
away lives many another day, so I run. But I might bite if cornered.
I would love being an only cat, or would be OK with a nice female cat
like Dana
or a nice male cat (I like other cats) or a nice dog. I realize my
condition will scare some people, but I hope there is a wonderful person
and/or family who is willing to understand my problem and who looks
deep into my golden eyes and says "Wow! That's my cat."
