Good friends!

Handsome Mr. Spud

Baby pictures!

These adorable kittens, at the tender age of 3 weeks, were left in a box on the steps at Hyattsville Animal Hospital. In the box and atop the kittens were a large amount of french fries. Thus the names they were given!

The little kittens went to a foster home for special care. They've grown up to be healthy, active kittens who are ready to find their forever homes. The kittens are relaxed and trusting - they just love people and purr big time when held. They come when called... and also when not called! They are adorable. We think they were born 8/4/03.

Pommes Frites is the smaller silver tabby female (that's French for french fries, pronounced "pumm freet"). She is dear and dainty, quite sweet and playful.

Frenchie (adopted) is the larger silver tabby female.

Freedom Fry (adopted) is the larger solid grey male. He is developing into a very husky kitten. He is extremely laid back and trusting. The kittens are all friendly but he is the one who comes for pets and loves most often. The fur on his chin is a bit longer than elsewhere and it makes him look as if he has a tiny goatee. We call him our Billy Goat Gruff.

Small Fry (adopted) is the smaller solid grey male (he's a pistol - his foster mom calls him "Mayhem").

Fast Fry (adopted) is the black female. She has discovered the goldfish in his bowl and is fascinated by him. She spends a lot of time patting the sides of the bowl. She was reaching in and trying to catch him until we put a basket over the opening of the bowl (much to the fish's relief!)

Spud is the black male. He's the largest and glossiest of the kittens. He weighs 4 pounds! Spud is always on the go but plays very gently with people and the other kittens.

They have been to our vet and all tested negative for leukemia and FIV. They have had their first shots, deworming, defleaing, etc. They are ready to find caring forever homes (where they will be fed good quality kitten food, not french fries!).
