The FedEx Stadium Cats: Millie and Mamma

Millie

An extended family of kittens and cats were rescued near the Redskins' FedEx stadium, and hence their name. We believe them to all be related, as their extended family had been monitored by a faithful protector and feeder.

Mamma and Little Millie are probably sisters. They are now about one and a half year old. Their mother is a feral cat; however they are used to people through their caretaker. Two of their sisters were adopted by a neighbor.

Little Millie is a Tuxedo cat, with a black body, white paws and chest, and a white nose area. She is more friendly every day, and likes to play with her older son/nephew, Boo Boo. Little Millie is spayed and vaccinated.

Mamma is mostly white, with black patches on her head and back. She is still a little frightened of the new foster home, but is otherwise healthy, now spayed and given her shots.

There are six more young kittens and an older kitten, BooBoo, of these two mothers. The mothers did not discriminate, both nursed these babies until they were ready to be weaned.
