Dana

Dana is a sweet "tuxedo" cat who was rescued with her tiny kittens. Her babies are now almost 5 months old and finding homes of their own. Dana has retired from being a mommy and would very much like a home of her own too. She is a gentle cat who just likes to be with you. Not a real snuggler, she expresses her love in other ways. Dana enjoys other cats and likes romping with them. She loves the laser pen toy and chasing milk bottle rings. She also frequently chases her own tail! She's a self-effacing, eccentric girl who is easy to handle and rides nicely in the car.

Dana's undemanding, placid personality makes her an EXCELLENT second cat. An example of a good pairing for her is with Tommy. Tommy is a "petting hog" plus needs another cat to play with, otherwise he is very demanding. Dana is the perfect foil for him, she satisfies his play needs but since she doesn't need much affection, that leaves the adopter free to give more to Tommy. She could be paired with other cats, but it's a good combination to consider.
