The boys are from a large litter of kittens, all of them equally cute and perfect. We know exactly when they were born, July 22, 2003, because our volunteers had just rescued their mother Chase, when she started to give birth! This tiny momma cat is not even a year old, just a kitten herself, but she proved to be a wonderful mother. In trying to nurse so many kittens, she divided them into two batches and nursed them alternatively so everyone could get a nipple!

There are 5 boys (orange and white like Mom) and 2 girls, both tortis. (See the Baby Pictures below.) Harry, Ron, Fred and George were named for the Harry Potter characters, Legolas is the elf from Lord of the Rings, and the girls Kauna and Bindu are named for their foster mom's goddaughters. All the kittens are playful, sweet, and cute as the dickens. Bindu has two pictures because she was too busy to stop and be photographed. Fred and George are very mellow kittens who enjoyed lazing about for their photos.
