The Baltimore Girls:
Voshkie, Anoush, Zazan, and Mirabai

These four little girls were rescued by a kind family up in Baltimore. They wanted to make sure that they found good homes so they brought them to one of our CARA volunteers. Here's what their foster mom says about them.

Anoush loves to sit on my shoulder. She's black and white. Anoush is an Armenian girl's name meaning "sweet".

Voshkie is fearless, curious, cuddly and very playful. She is an orange tabby with white, and appears to have medium long fur. Voshkie is an Armenian girl's name meaning "golden".

Zazan is a little shy and a bit more playful. She's a cute little torti gal with white feet. Her name is a variation of an Armenian girl's name meaning "rainbow".

Mirabai likes to sleep by herself and is a little more independent. She's a pretty torti gal. Mirabai is named after the young daughter of a good friend, who was herself named after a revered holy woman (Islamic or Hindu).

If you are interested in any of these girls, please contact us to meet them or to get more information.
